Being a teacher has been such an amazing part of my life. I began to instruct skiing in my late 20s when I discovered a joy and passion for sharing my love of the mountains. This wonderous winter sport felt like dancing with snow, hills and gravity all simultaneously .

I played guitar for many years, so my next great instructional adventure started after I moved to Vancouver. My love of music, guitar, and classic rock and blues naturally led me to begin sharing my knowledge and excitement with others – see my website at  www.rthompson.ca

So now I throw my dreams to the wind once again and venture forward – hopeful to discover a new passion for teaching English to Thai people. They are fun loving and light hearted. I’m optimistic that the guitar teacher in me can discover a natural balance between fun and learning.
