Well, I didn’t know what to expect, but that’s what makes cooking a real adventure.
Stuck with shrimp without tofu, fresh chili’s instead of dried, and tamarind juice/fish sauce/palm sugar for the sauce…
I must say that the results were rewarding. I actually really liked it, and the rice noodles are filling but not heavy. To my surprise, I must admit that it’s a big improvement over wheat noodles.
My Nephew Nathan was very happy and complimented the dish saying, “it’s as good as what I would get at a Thai restaurant.”
Love when a new cooking adventure works out that way!
